T-Shirts

These shirts were silkscreened by hand in small batches. I would select the t-shirts I liked in Asakusa and then use whatever color inks I had at hand. Each one came out with a variation in width or placement. I liked that these had a one-of-a-kind treatment to each one, instead of a mechanical, industrial, capitalistic mindset.
I sold these pins of myself at the Tokyo Art Book fair in 2016, as well as at my band's shows. Art takes itself too seriously and if I can knock the legs off its pedestal, I will.
I laser-cut these letters from felt and glued them to my jacket to personalize it. People could see me coming from a mile away.
